The 2008 Illinois Mennonite Relief Sale Board wishes to extend very special thanks to all who so generously shared their time, talents, prayers, and money in support of our 50^th Anniversary Illinois Relief Sale. Our theme - “In the Name of Christ!” - was again beautifully demonstrated as people of different communities and congregations joined hands “to love and serve on another” by working together “in the name of Christ.”

Again the financial success of our 2008 Illinois Sale will be very deeply appreciated by the needy here in Central Illinois and in 60 countries of the world as distributed by MCC. To God we give the honor, glory, and thanks for another successful event. Now we accept the challenge to march forward in planning our 51^st Illinois Sale, which will be held March 20 and 21, 2009, in Bloomington's Interstate Center. Let's remember Hebrews 12:1-2:“Let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfect er of our faith....” Please continue to pray for our Illinois Relief Sale, the Sale Board, MCC, and all of the suffering around the world.
